As of , we hold approximately email addresses of UK business opportunity seekers. All of the people on the list have asked us to send them information on business opportunities.

Each week we send a maximum of ONE email to the whole list. This keeps the list fresh, because the people aren't being constantly bombarded with the same information. We don't split or divide the list - the whole list is used each time. We normally get approximately 50% transmission success rate.

Source of our Business Opportunity Seeker Database
The email list which we use for the E-Shot is collected from ongoing national newspaper advertising. Every single one represents a personal contact between that individual and New Horizons because all of the people have either telephoned, written or applied online for our Opportunity Report about starting a business of their own. Therefore this list is 100% genuine and 100% targeted. Not a single name has EVER been added from any other source. We have NEVER bought a single name on this list from any other company. No UK company can match this specification.

Mailing Lists
Upgrade your hit rate with the postal approach as well. We can supply names and postal addresses of the above list as a data file* or on mailing labels.

Prospect Lists
Go a stage further by actually talking to the person concerned as well. With a Prospect List, we supply Telephone Numbers in addition to the name.
Please note: Only approximately 80% of the email list have phone numbers and we don't validate any of the numbers on the list. The numbers are listed as they have been supplied by the people themselves - please expect up to approx 30% failure rate on the phone number list.
Prospect Lists are supplied as a data file* or line listing.

*Data File Format
When you choose the data option with any of our lists you will receive your data in a .dbf (dBase III) file. This is an industry standard file format which is readable by a variety of software from many vendors. For example, many of our customers use Microsoft Excel to view the data.

However please note that it is a database you are buying and it is unlikely to be usable if opened in, say, a word processor. We regret we cannot provide support by telephone if you encounter difficulties using the data and we recommend that you please consult your software manual or use online help from the software vendor.

*Data Protection Act note
Please note that you or your company should be registered as a Data User with the Data Protection Registrar in order to handle personal information (such as a Mailing List) on a computer, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. The Act does not apply if you receive the data on paper or labels.

Requirements
You need to provide:
HTML or plain text email (subject to content approval)
Subject line (a good subject line can multiply your response rate)
"From" field (what you want to appear in the "from" field of the email)
Preferred transmission day/date/time.

We take all bookings for the Friday of the week to ensure just one booking per week. However you can choose from Friday, Monday or Tuesday for your actual transmission date. We don't transmit on Wednesdays or Thursdays because it may be too close to the following week's booking

Payments Terms
Cleared funds ONE CLEAR WEEK prior to allocated transmission date please.
